I cooked a family classic passed down from my dad to me by osmosis for her lovely project to empower herself to grow her blog and photography passions. We both took turns with food styling and learning from one another. Last night’s mini feast. After finding out that it was Kitchen God Festival day a.k.a. Little Chinese New Years yesterday, I figured it would be fun to honor it by joining in by making a meal using a cooking hearth I own as mandated (my bbq and butane stove), in order to give thanks for having good fortune in always having food to eat this last year. To add more fun, the beau and I made it an indoor picnic meal.
Thinking of defrosting my Basil Pistachio Pesto sauce to make pasta for dinner tonight. What do you think?
