What can I say. It was wonderful. A true collaboration of local food producers/growers’ products used by local chefs to create some really flavourful food. It was such a great coming together of local food supporters. Put on by our Vancouver Farmers Markets society, it drew a sold out crowd. I’m guessing there was about 300+- guests, with about 10 long tables setup inside the Creekside Community Centre’s gym, a rather nice space. I saw old friends and met new ones, enjoyed drinks, conversation and good food, no, great food. When all eaten and drunk, all commented how superbly satisfied all were.
